Hop.

Misty Mountain Hop.

A debate for the ages - what is your favorite/the best Zeppelin album?

*I'd be worried that the Batarang LP would fly off the turntable and cut someone.

Obviously it's Houses of the Holy

WHOA, let's not get crazy here. I was not expecting that.

How could you not?

Because the answer is clearly II, unless you say I or IV. I did not expect Houses of The Holy.

Now I am going to have to go listen to it, and this is why I love this debate - more Led Zeppelin means everyone wins.

Well it could be IV. I enjoy HotH more because it was a bit experimental. Ethereal. Just enough of a change to still be classic Zeppelin whilst still trying out new stuff. It was completely overshadowed by IV. Don't listen to HotH if you have IV in recent memory.

I never knew this was a debate. Aren't they the ultimate example of second album syndrome?

I have a problem with this. Good driving songs are not ones which keep my tapping my foot harder and harder on the gas pedal. Those ones get me speeding tickets. Good driving music chills me out.

Well, that's a personal problem.

My opinion on the matter has changed over time from IV, to I and now settling on II. III has certainly grown on me over the years, too.

Is it? Or is it a problem with our national speed limits, huh? They should set them for good music.

Yet another point in favour of slow-car-fast.

I think a steady beat is good.

I get what you mean, though. Catch Hell Blues by The White Stripes got me a ticket last year.

I was taking the back roads driving from Bowling Green to Lexington Kentucky for some car parts this summer and this song came on the radio. It was a sunny day and the countryside was beautiful. At that moment I decided that Zeppelin is the ultimate country driving music.
